General Summary: We have an opportunity at our manufacturing facility in Corsicana, TX for a hands-on individual to successfully maintain the safety and health programs within the plant. The Health & Safety Coordinator will be responsible for the investigation and management of all work related injuries/illnesses. This person will continually update management on the status of work injury claims. In addition will coordinate and conduct all plant safety programs, including OSHA required training programs. Will coordinate all the day to day functions of the First-Aid Station.
Key Skills:
Must be able to handle multiple priorities and re-prioritize as needed.
The ability to interact with all levels of management and production personnel.
Will maintain accurate and complete records.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Worker’s compensation, OSHA, accident investigation, safety & health programs experience.
Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant.
Medical clerical background with knowledge of medical terminology and documentation.
Claims management a plus.
Emergency room or industrial environment a plus.
Shift:
2nd shift
4:30 pm – 3:00 am
Monday - Thursday
