Job Description
Production Supervisor Food Manufacturing (2nd shift)- Bartlett, IL Leading Snack Food Manufacturer is expanding again and has recently opened a 1 million sq. foot facility in the Barlett, IL area. They are currently looking for both a 2nd shift Production Supervisor to manage an expanding line in this busy facility. This position will be responsible for managing production operations and hourly non–union employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervision of production operations, personnel, and safety for specific area/lines. Responsible for implementing the production plan. Responsible for resolving maintenance issues. Directly supervise, train, and evaluate employees. Communication and coordinate activities with other shift supervisory staff and Operations Manager ensuring smooth production work transitions. Actively monitor document and work to improve production issues facility wide. Assist with audits as needed. Make proactive recommendations and offer solutions to the Production System Manager to improve output and efficiencies. Additional responsibilities as necessary. Qualifications:
MUST have 2+ plus years experience in a FOOD manufacturing environment. 1+ years in a Supervisory position Bi-lingual (Spanish- English) is a plus but not required AS degree preferred, but not required if applicant has 3+ years food manufacturing experience Ability to work overtime and in a fast paced work environment Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.
