Job Description
MillerCoors' Irwindale Brewery is currently recruiting for a department Maintenance Manager. The purpose of the maintenance or asset care department is to develop and implement an effective preventive maintenance program to protect the capital equipment within the brewery. This is accomplished by providing technical leadership in terms of asset care technology and more advanced skills within the organization to enable implementation of the manufacturing strategies, proactive operator based maintenance, and effective maintenance programs. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for implementing the asset care initiative at the brewery.

Outputs (goals) and Accountabilities 'To shape a performance culture and drive related key processes through the performance management process.

'To track goals and outputs for Asset Care Team.

'To insure that asset care is entrenched across the brewery so that business targets are achieved.

'To support the manufacturing strategy implementation plan per schedule-MMS & RCM. Support transition to operator based maintenance.

'To insure developed RCM based maintenance packages are completed and implemented.

'To implement a condition monitoring methodologies and procedures at brewery level.

'To implement a WCM strategy for asset management.

'To participate in Asset Management Audits.

'To leverage and entrench a problem-solving ethic in the brewery.

'To identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities to the brewery.

'To ensure sustainable performance through supporting organizational effectiveness and development.

'To share best practices across SABMiller breweries via the Shared Learning format.

'To provide asset management leadership across the brewery.

'To optimize the use of Maximo within the brewery.

'To optimize the spare parts management within the brewery

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

'Minimum of BS in Engineering or Related Field.

'5-7 years within asset care field in breweries or similar operational environment, with experience in Union environment a plus.

'Demonstrated leadership and management experience at systemic and strategic levels.

'Successful implementation of preventive maintenance programs, world-class manufacturing principles, and change leadership.

'Proven track record in optimizing operational processes and equipment and their availability, reliability, and consistent performance.

'Ability to manage and support salaried and hourly employees and the growth of organization skills through implementation of successful training, development, and coaching programs.

'Ability to support/maintain a safe, healthy, clean, and organized working environment.

COMPETENCIES: Knowledge and application of WCM principles:

' Statistical Process Control (SPC) ' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) ' Operator based maintenance ' Maintenance based operations ' Quick changeover ' Problem solving ' 5 Why & Formal Failure Analysis (FFA) facilitation ' Short Interval Control (SIC) ' Misc.
