Accounting Manager needed at plant level of fast growing and employee focused food company. This position has been created by company growth and will report directly to the controller.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for specific accounting functions and Accounting Support Group. Assigns and audits work of support staff engaged in various accounting procedures. Directs the timely preparation of accounting records and reports. Assists in the development of policies, systems, and financial procedures and is personally engaged in the more critical and confidential nature of the department. • Maintain Construction In-Progress and Fixed Assets records. • Review and Approve all Invoices for Accounts Payable. • Review and Approve Payroll Files. • Maintain General Ledger Accounts. • Monthly Close and General Ledger Responsibilities. • Provide Support to Department Managers. • Any and all other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: • B.S. Degree in Accounting • 5-7 Years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment • Strong computer skills and extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, Access and Accounting Systems • Excellent communication skills
