Job Description

This position is ideal for a recent college graduate or an individual that would be willing to relocate in the near future. Responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting and implementing ways to reduce costs, increase efficiency and quality, and maintain a safe, healthy and environmental responsible facility. Designs equipment and control systems with thoroughly understanding on what reactions are taking place.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Provides technical support to manufacturing to address daily production problems
1. Leads or participates in teams and coordinates with other departments to achieve objectives
2. Train management personnel in new processes implementation
3. Utilizes reports, diagrams, and charts to communicate data and solutions
Researches, recommends, and implements changes to manufacturing processes to:
1. Increase efficiency, minimize waste, and/or reduce costs
2. Increase product quality and/or services
3. Improve personal and/or reduce environmental impact
4. Ensuring that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations

Provides product configurations, material usage, and/or labor requirements for proper scheduling and/or accounting accuracy

Reviews existing data to see if more research and information need to be collated, and assessing the adequacy of the existing processes and equipment

Managing the cost and time constraints of projects Performs other related duties as defined by the manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
• Leadership and connectivity skills specifically the ability to understand and achieve results with others
• Proven ability to design, manage, and implement projects of a technical nature
• Familiarity with Auto Cad or design software
• Thorough understanding of liquid and solid knowledge
• Must enjoy a hands-on environment
• Must be an innovator

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Minimum of 3-5 years in an industrial or manufacturing environment

• Excellent communication skills, oral and written, including technical writing
