Job Description
My client, a major provider of specialty beverages across the United States is seeking a
National Channels Development Manager. This position will report to the U.S. Sales Director and will be located in the New Jersey/NY metro area.
This position was created as a result of restructuring and expanding the U.S. sales team. Major accounts like Wal-Mart and Target will be the responsibility of this individual.
Duties · Achieve annual budgeted sales and profit for National Accounts. · Achieve annual shipper budget. · Build medium to long term region and national account strategy. · Deliver annual sales and promotional plans by account. · Optimize broker structure and route to market. · Identify and manage new business opportunities · Total responsibility for brokers, distributors, and retail chains. · Annual regional business plan. · Minimum of 3 retail headquarter calls per year. · Organize and participate in sales meetings and trade shows.
Qualifications · B.S/B.A degree. · 7-10 years of sales experience. · Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a specialty business. · Minimum of 5-10 years experience calling on retailer. · Must have a strong relationship with Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Costco, Sam’s, etc.
