National food processing firm with a location in South Eastern Iowa near Davenport is searching for a Production Supervisor and Mixing Supervisor.

Relocation assistance available: Outstanding opportunity with growing financially stable firm.

About the opportunity:

Mixing supervisor will mange mixing staff and mixing operations during second shift production schedule of bakery products and crackers. Production Supervisor will manage a production line and employees. Both positions will report to the production manager. Will insure that company’s mixing, formulation, and production guidelines are followed. Will insure compliance with quality, companies GPM, OSHA, and other regulations. Will schedule production employee’s hours and work directly with Human Resources with employment issues.

Position requirements:

3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Highly prefer mixing and formulation experience with bakery products.

Working Knowledge of Sanitation, Food Safety, and OSHA regulation.

Ability to mentor, lead, and manage a production team.

Ability to analyze numbers, assign production goals, and insure standards are met.

Working knowledge of 5’s and/or lean manufacturing is highly preferred.
