Job Description
The company is a leader in the consumer packaged goods industry with the top selling brand in 10 grocery categories.
The Primary Accountabilities of the Trade Marketing Manager (TMM) are to create, direct and supervise the development of sales strategies and tactics. This will include providing methods of presentation, the necessary sales aids and sales promotion material. In addition, The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the decision making process by obtaining feedback through direct interaction with Field Sales and Brand Marketing. This will require providing recommendations to Sales Management and Brand Management on the appropriate direction to be taken on behalf of your assigned brand responsibility.
Criteria for Success:
ª The TMM will be held accountable for establishing and recommending Sales Divisional goals for key sales programs such as group promotion events, new product introductions and line extensions. ª The TMM will serve as the Sales Division’s representative on the new products task force of the business categories assigned and provide input and direction to the National Sales Manager as necessary. ª Develop selling material and point of sale materials that are consistent with Sales and Marketing objectives and gain the desired results from the trade.
