Dairy company on the west coast seeks a motivated Senior Cost Accountant to be responsible for all aspects of the organization’s product cost as well as perform general accounting functions. You will develop and maintain standard costs for 11 manufacturing plants; complete monthly cost accounting journal entries; and manage system maintenance of Oracle costing modules. You will also communicate cost change impacts to management on a monthly basis; analyze monthly manufacturing variances; and provide daily guidance to the cost accounting staff.

Requirements Required Qualifications Understand the nature of cost accounting and its role in business management Ability to resolve complex problems and implement change Supervision and mentoring skills Strong Excel skills and some exposure to MS Access databases ERP experience, preferably Oracle Effective communication and leadership skills with all levels of personnel
