World Class Food Manufacturing Facility located near Fort Wayne IN, is recruiting a Support Maintenance Technician This position reports to the Operations Team Manager.The Ideal candidate will enjoy working in a non-union and highly participative environment with a strong atmosphere of collaboration.This candidate is looking for a solid career.The SupportTechnician provides support to a production team on a 2-2-3 12 hour night shift schedule.
Responsibilities:
Attention to safety awareness and promoting a safe work environment Knowledge of quality systems - how and when quality is measured Provide daily technical support for production areas Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical processes

Compensation $42,000 TO 54,000 salary with a incentive bonus! A complete benefit package and free on-site fitness center.
Ideal Skill Set Control Programming
Allen-Bradley PLC-5 and SLC 500 (GE controllers in Printing) Programming / troubleshooting using: RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, Panel builder Knowledge of DH+ network Knowledge of Wonderware Intouch software Programming / troubleshooting Panelview screens Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Electrician
Good understanding of Industrial electricity: (journeyman electrician) 3phase power, contactors, motor starters, overloads, fuseblocks, relays, low voltage control circuits, photoeyes, etc… Knowledge of AC drives, installation and setup. Knowledge of DC servo-drives,(programming)
Mechanical
Ability to adjust and replace and/or repair mechanical drive components Ability to adjust and replace chain & sprockets, pulleys, bearings, gearboxes Ability to troubleshoot, replace and/or repair solenoids, cylinders, & pneumatic/vacuum systems Welding/fabrication
Leadership / Education
Food process and/or high-speed consumer goods manufacturing experience (dry mix and pack), cartoners, wrappers, casepackers Managing floor level projects / Providing project notes and updates to supervisor. Associates degree in technical field of study or ITT type specific PLC training. Ability to manage small process improvement teams
