Job Description
Tribeca Oven, a premier baker of artisan breads located in Carlstadt, New Jersey, is seeking a Sales Account Manager.
Overall Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the execution of sales strategies; initiate contact with existing and potential customers. Identify customers need and ability to recommend products to meet those needs. Actively participates and contributes to all new product development. Responsible for planning marketing/sales data and material to keep track and follow up on existing customers. This position will also be responsible for the operational execution including managing accounts daily, establishing marketing plans, auditing, visiting customers and creating standardized procedures including reports.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
-Develop and maintain a good understanding of our products to provide fact based information and gain customer confidence.
-Identify food service customer needs and recommend products.
-Facilitate retail customers planning process.
-Demonstrate analytical, collaborative and consultative abilities.
-Call and visit prospective and existing customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create a customer supplier relationship.
-Increase sales, ability to bring leads.
-Prepare sales and marketing information for customers. Manage customer mailings in conjunction with Frozen Sales Coordinator.
-Establish buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria.
-Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.
-Manage and prepare various daily, monthly and quarterly reports; log reports to VP of Sales and Marketing.
-Ensures communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with VP of Sales and Marketing and Frozen Sales Coordinator.
-Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
-Participation and coordination in food show exhibitions.
-Provide support to VP of Sales and Frozen Sales Coordinator when needed; provide cost saving solutions and ideas to management.
Skills/Qualifications/Requirements: Conformance to TRIBECA way; Strong negotiation skills; Successful track record developing customer relations; Knowledge of import processes and customs; Ability to communicate effectively with customers; Strong problem solving skills with ability to research problems, present recommendations and implement solutions; Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast paced environment (multi-tasking is a must); Ability to coordinate with a diverse array of personalities; Ability to handle and overcome rejection; Attention to detail and accuracy; Solid computer skills, Excel, Word, Outlook; Ability to work in an open office environment and be a TEAM player.
