Job Description
Regional Sales, Associate Program Coordinator Ingredients reporting within the Sales Division. These positions will be responsible for planning, managing and coordinating the execution of Specialty and Commodity sales across a variety of market areas within an assigned geographic territory for the purpose of generating significant new sales.
Primary duties for this position will include: solicitation and maintenance of Specialty and Commodity sales; technical sales development of new product/market applications; generation of new customers, sales forecasting and contract entry; communicating market information; developing and implementing key account plans; participating in corporate initiatives; troubleshooting customer problems; close collaboration with Sales, Technology, Supply Chain, Reliability, Finance and Operations; program leadership.
The position will be based within the several regions of the United States and require extensive travel. A successful candidate will be required quickly to become an expert in specific markets and technologies associated with the geographic customer base.
The following requirements and qualifications have been established for these positions: • BS/BA degree in marketing, engineering, science, associated field or equivalent experience. • MBA degree in marketing engineering, science, associated field or equivalent experience is preferred. • Minimum of 5 years experience in territory sales management in a technical or related discipline. • Prefer 7+ years experience in territory sales management and program/market development to a diverse customer base, with experience in developmental selling. Marketing and strategic business planning demonstrated. • Demonstrates outstanding external and internal presentation and communication skills. • Demonstrates leadership qualities: strong people-motivating skills with experience in working effectively with various functional groups. • Demonstrates ability to execute and/or manage programs effectively • Demonstrates ability to develop rapport and relationships quickly. • Demonstrates strong computer skills. • Demonstrates ability to learn, assimilate and apply complex technical information quickly
