Job Description
Successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing hourly maintenance mechanics and technicians, in sustaining proper and efficient working order for all processing equipment and components.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production equipment

• Provide maintenance leadership and training to ensure department goals are met

• Manage daily staffing and effective allocation of labor, repair parts, and outside services

• Track and report maintenance downtime/data

• Ensure the completion of work specific to blueprints, specifications and standards

• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules

• Analyze and resolve work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems

• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments

• Drive continuous improvement and total employee involvement

Qualifications:

• 5 - 7 Years maintenance supervisory experience

• Ability to work off shift and weekends

• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communications skills

• Result Oriented

• Strong understanding of technology, machinery and costs

• Working knowledge of electrical, PLC's, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, packaging and processing equipment

• working knowledge of Ammonia refrigeration, process freezers and coolers a plus.

• Proper and safe operation of shop and fabrication machinery

• Must have good computer skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and be able to learn and utilize maintenance management systems

• Should be knowledgeable of GMPs, HACCP, USDA guidelines and regulatory compliance.
