Quality Control/Quality Assurance

Manage the day-to-day quality assurance of food products produced and shipped. Implement and manage the internal quality audit procedures and schedule. Track and initiate investigation of compliant trends. Assure compliance for regulatory and food safety programs. Manage product hold release programs and manage QC Supervisors. Assures compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards to include HACCP, GMP, FDA, USDA, Organic, Kosher, knowledge or experience with canning and GFSI.

Qualifications:

BS (MS preferred) Chemistry or related science. 5+ years experience in QC for Food or Chemicals and have demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the field. Experience with HACCP, GMP and lab testing. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Computer savvy.
