Ocean Spray Cranberries, inc. is currently looking to hire a
Client Technology Administrator (junior level systems administrator) at their state of the art beverage production facility in Henderson, Nevada. The Client Technology Administrator will be responsible for setting up, installing and configuring PC hardware and software. Providing any customization and changes necessary to meet user needs. Performs deployments and problem analysis and resolution on PC hardware and associated peripherals in house and for off site locations and users. Supply AV setup support and control audio visual equipment for business functions. Provide independent desktop support resolution or escalation of helpdesk calls in an efficient and timely manner.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide help desk phone and email support to end-users. Log all support incidents and escalations into a ticket tracking system.
- Set up, configure, and perform PC hardware deployments. Perform PC imaging and hardware break/fix.
- Install, configure, provide functional support, and troubleshoot for all desktop software including Windows XP/Vista, MS Office suite 2003/2007, Antivirus software, IE 6.0/7.0, MS Infopath 2003/2007. Support all business applications including MS Sharepoint and SAP client.
- Support remote users and VPN client connectivity.
- Support audio visual equipment including equipment sign out, setup, and troubleshooting. Maintain video file library.
- Perform printer moves, installations, and break/fix maintenance. Maintain and troubleshoot desktop print functions including on site and remote print servers. Manage toner inventories.
- Administrative tasks supporting hardware inventory, time tracking, ticket tracking, and documentation. Support data retention policies and facilitate equipment retrieval.
Besides the skills listed below candidates should understand configuration of PC?s in a networked Microsoft environment as well as Microsoft Active Directory maintenance and administration. The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of basic network protocols (IPX, NETBEUI, TCPIP), network design, and network monitoring of Ethernet 10/100-base, Fiber, wireless and Gigabit topologies. Knowledge in application development in Excel, Access, SQL and HTML, disaster recovery and backup systems (VERITAS, CA) and MCSE Certification required. Excellent planning and organization skills, along with sound verbal and written communication skills also required. VMware Virtualization, Transact-SQL, and HP Procurve experience a plus. Candidates must have the ability to work independently, with little supervision.
Candidates must be flexible to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.Minimum Skills Required:A Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or a computer science field is required. Candidates will have 3-5 years of hands on technical experience. Candidates should have experience working with controls automation and/or manufacturing execution systems. This individual would have knowledge of Microsoft client and server operating systems (Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP/2003) as well as Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio).
