Description POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Human Resources Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team, and is expected to partner with management and employees when driving key business initiatives throughout the organization. Priorities will include performance, talent and career management; learning and development; attracting and retaining talent; and onboarding. Incumbent will lead Personnel Administration, Labor Relations, Training, EEO, Benefits and Compensation functions of the brewery. HR Manager will advise plant management in the areas of Staffing and Affirmative Action in conjunction with Company policy and procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Direct and manage administration of compliance efforts to insure policies and procedures are administered consistent federal and state regulations and within the framework of the labor agreement. Champion the brewery's position and participate as a Company representative when managing of union talks, and other Human Resources activities.
Direct and manage all aspects of talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management processes and EEO and affirmative action.
Direct the development of procedures and controls to ensure that Corporate Policies are adhered to and that employees are oriented to the policies, practices and benefits of the Company.
Develop brewery personnel procedures around corporate guidelines and make studies, surveys and recommendations for short and long-term improvements of personnel procedures and practices.
Direct the brewery learning and development function, in the development and implementation of training and development programs.
Maintain salary compensation program for exempt and non-exempt employees within corporate guidelines and ensure inequities among existing employees are minimized.
Coordinate employee activities to ensure that all programs comply with company guidelines.
Requirements Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration. Advanced degree desired, preferably in Business Administration or Law.
Minimum of ten (10) years business knowledge and experience in Human Resources.
The ability to demonstrate proficiencies in each of the following areas: 1) effective change management skills particularly when driving cultural change, 2) driving performance management including talent and change management within all levels of the organization, 3) ability to connect with all levels in the organization, 4) project management skills, 5) experience incorporating World Class Manufacturing principles and techn
