Job Description
A growing agriculture company is seeking a dynamic individual to join their human resource team. They currently have a career opportunity available for a Human Resource Manager at their Watsonville facility.
The HR Manager is responsible for support in the administration of hiring, retention, termination, personnel records, legal compliance, workers compensation, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and long-term staffing strategies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration of general HR matters Coordinate Performance evaluations Employee Relations Coordinate and maintain employee ‘statistics’ utilizing HRIS Provide advice and counsel to supervisors and employees as to HR policies and procedures Provide feedback on employee morale Interface with employees and management with respect to employee relations, specific corrective actions, etc. Ensures compliance and administers safety and workers compensation programs Other projects/duties as assigned COMPREHENSIVE SALARY AND BENEFIT PACKAGE INCLUDING BONUS. RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDED.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Bilingual skills Spanish/English REQUIRED!
Computer literate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Demonstrated leadership capabilities. Excellent organizational skills and follow up skills Knowledge of Federal/state labor laws, regulations, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. 3 years of experience in human resources. Agriculture / manufacturing background a plus
