Job Description
FACILITIES PLANNER – Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities include working on a project team to provide facility planning services (the facility master plan) related to new construction, renovation and space build out of structures used for processing and distribution of foods, beverages and consumer products.
Will consult with clients to gather operational information, evaluate requirements and make recommendations for long-term plans. Will prepare business engineering solutions which include: facility layouts, planning reports, schedules, cost estimates and presentation materials.
Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with managers, clients, and vendors. Must also possess excellent computer and software skills including AutoCAD 2007, Microsoft excel and Microsoft word.
Flexibility for 20 to 30% travel is required.
Education BS degree Industrial, Mechanical or other Engineering or the equivalent experience.
Experience This position requires 2 - 5 years’ related experience preferably with a focus on industrial structures. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.
