Overview: The SAP Sales and Logistics Business Process Manager is accountable for providing overall direction and integration for one or more SAP modules, functional and/or business areas for Hershey international and domestic operations with an emphasis on the Sales and Logistics functions and modules. The candidate is required to understand the business strategy of the Sales and Logistics functions, geographic area, and/or legal entity and work with a team to define business requirements and implement solutions. The SAP Sales and Logistics Business Process Manager will be responsible to communicate and coordinate with other teams, customers, and management across the IS organization and business to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules. This role will leverage a comprehensive understanding of the business or functional process area and an extensive knowledge of the software supporting the processes.
Responsibilities: -Meet with any combination of customers and IS staff to gain an understanding of business objectives, facilitate solutions, develop approaches and define deliverables required to implement complex business processes. During this process the SAP Business Process Manager is expected to provide input on latest technological and business development trends.
-Provides overall direction for the integration of one or more specific SAP modules and functional and/or business area processes. The SAP Sales and Logistics Business Process Manager is responsible for process analysis, functional and logical system design and implementation. This position leads team members to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across the organization. This role participates in production SAP support on 24 X 7 rotating basis for the Sales and Logistics area.
- Maintains currency in enterprise technologies by participating in the evaluation of new releases or alternate software, interacting with consultants and user groups and reviewing business and technical literature.
-Takes a leadership role in planning (both strategic and financial), budgeting and resource responsibilities within defined area. The SAP Sales and Logistics Business Process Manager works with management to manage supplier and internal customer relationships.
- Is responsible for developing technical or business process expertise within the team through mentoring and team coaching.
- Is willing and able to travel to domestic and international sites to support ongoing business initiatives.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration, or similar.
Experience: This position can be filled at one of three different levels depending on experience: - Minimum of 3-4 years progressive experience in SAP design and implementation with a minimum of 10 - 12 years in Information Technology or operational business area. - Proven ability to lead solutions within one or more functional/business process area. - Knowledge of consumer packaged goods industry or related field.
Preferred Skills: Masters degree or equivalent degree preferred.
