Category Advisor Manager – Major CPG Rogers, AR.
One of the world’s leading food/consumer goods manufacturers has an immediate opening for a Category Adviser Manager in the Rogers/Bentonville Area. One of the largest producers of some 400 packaged consumer goods, our client operates in nearly all countries in Asia, Africa, North America, the Middle East, Western Europe, and Latin America. Our client sells/markets food, household products and beauty aids in 150 different countries. They have one of the most recognized portfolios of goods in the world. Responsible for providing category management reports, trend analysis, customized customer reports and special project work directly to the buyer in Pasta Sauce, Tea, and Oil. Responsible for weekly Wal-Mart Team Pasta Sauce, Tea, and Oil report distributed to local team as well as brand and marketing resources in Food categories. Responsible for ongoing maintenance of Pasta Sauce, Tea, and Oil category database for use within MS Access and POS reporting system.
Consumer / Shopper Insights Directly responsible for preparing customer presentations using Retail Link, ACNielsen, and company consumer / shopper insights and presenting this information to the Pasta Sauce, Tea, and Oil buyers.
Quarterly Planning Session Prep /Modular Line Review Prep Directly responsible for conducting total category management analyses studies with the Wal-Mart Pasta Sauce, Tea, and Oil buyers in order to improve category strategies and plans.
The chosen candidate will have 5-8 years of category analysis experience. Must have supported Wal-Mart in background. Fully operational in space management software (Space Planning – JDA). Presentation skills – direct, frequent, unsupervised interaction with the Wal-Mart buyer. BS/BA degree.
Compensation plan will include a base salary of $100k - $115k,25% - 45% bonus, company car, Medical & Dental Plans, Life Insurance, including spouse & children; Health Care Flexible Spending, Dependent Care, Retirement & Savings Plans, Tuition Reimbursement, Paid Vacation and Holidays.
