Job Description
This state of the art food processing company is located near Fort Wayne Indiana. The company operates three plants within the state of Indiana. This is a salary position with additional pay after 45 hours.This company utilizes a participative management style of running the company.
POSITION OBJECTIVES
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of mechanics and electricians engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment and buildings. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing.

Project Work (10%) • Coordination • Follow-Up

Paperwork (5%) • Schedule • Work orders • Write-up for next shift
Shift Prep (5%) • Planning of work for employees

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
• 4 year degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Maintenance or Technology
Experience and Skills
• 5 years experience in industrial maintenance with a food processing background • Certifications in Sanitary welding, Boiler operation, Waste water treatment, and Electrical systems beneficial, but not required • Knowledge of Industrial electrical systems, Welding, Boilers, Pneumatics and Hydraulics • Computer proficient ? MS Office, AutoCad

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to utilize hands and fingers in constructing and replacing of machine parts • Must be able to lift/carry machine parts • Must wear protective/sanitary gear in designated areas of the plant and while doing certain tasks (i.e. hair/beard nets, earplugs, environmental suit, goggles, welding shield.) • Must be able to work long hours, especially during fresh pack • Must be able to spend long amounts of time on feet on concrete floors
