Job Description
Responsible for the overall coordination of cleaning materials, people and processes to achieve effective food equipment cleaning and timely production start-ups within the standard cost guidelines
Key Areas of Responsibility: • Must ensure that 3rd shift is properly staffed with trained, qualified associates; ensure that all associates satisfactorily complete their assignments while striving for superior job performance. Utilize Future Manufacturing priniciples in leading and coaching employees. • Must ensure that cleaning materials, supplies and equipment are properly functioning and ready for use at the prescribed times. • Responsible for efficient cleaning and pre-op procedures to ensure on-time start-up of all production areas; ensure that company guidelines and good manufacturing practices (GMPs), SSOPs, and safe working conditions are exercised towards the achievement of successful start-ups on a daily basis. • Must be able to work closely and cooperate with other departments (e.g. Warehouse, Maintenance, etc.) to achieve optimal performance of the Production operation. • Must communicate all opportunities for improvement and pertinent information to the Operations Manager. • Must be flexible and able to handle multiple priorities. • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field of study preferred. A minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. This position requires demonstrated analytical and independent decision making skills to include strong communication and leadership skills.
