Locations listed are depots/hubs. Openings may not be available at each location. If you apply for a for a city where a position if not currently open, your resume will be held for a period of 60 days if you submit your school proof and also meet our hiring guidelines. You must be able to drive a manual transmission/stick shift truck, be age 21 or greater, and meet MVR requirements below.
Responsibilities:
This is primarily a SALES position. Base of approximately $100 per week, plus sales commission.
Deliver and sell to established accounts, stock truck, take product from truck into store, restaurants, etc., unload and stock shelves, preplan specific orders for each location, solicit business/additional business. Direct and daily contact with large and small retail customers such as big box store managers, receiving c
lerks, etc. Onboard handheld inventory computer and printer for inventory tracking and ordering.
IBC provides the vehicle and all associated costs including fuel, established customers, and great account exec support for the pre-established territory. RSR's use state of the art technology including hand held computers for ordering and reports.
Only IBC employees are allowed in company vehicles. Since this is a company vehicle, no other persons are permitted to ride in the IBC trucks.
Typical days start early (between 3:30-5 a.m.) depending on the location and assigned route - an average of 12-15 stops per day. Average week 45-55 hours, depending on route. Days off are assigned per the contract provisions. 4 weeks of training @ $500 per week. Once assigned a route, pay is base (approx $100/wk) plus commission (approx 10%) = est +/- $34k to $50k per year plus benefits. Ability to drive a standard transmission truck and have a clean driving record. Class A/B license a plus. Requires documented proof of high school diploma or GED. Ability to lift/push/pull racks of bakery products from truck to store (est 300 lbs), climb, kneel, bend, and work in hot or inclement weather. Age 21+.
MVR check performed nationwide by Verifications, Inc. for all States: 1. Must posses valid state driver's license 2. No convictions on MVR for Dui or reckless driving (including speeding over 15 mph over limit) for the past 5 years 3. No more than two moving violations in the last 3 years (seat belt violations are not moving violations) 4. No restricted or suspended license event due to moving violation in the past 3 years. Suspension for insurance will not be considered if license is now valid. 5. Any other serious violation(s) or incidents not mentioned above such as vehicular homicide.
Grooming Standards: 1. For men hair shall not fall below upper half of the ear or top of shirt collar in the back. Sideburns shall not extend below the bottom of the ear. Mustaches shall not extend below the corners of the mouth, otherwise employees must be clean shaven. For women, hair will not be worn below the middle of the back. Employees should be neat clean and professional at all times. Uniform is required.
Must pass an extensive personal, employment, and MVR background check, D.O.T. physical and drug test. If you are in doubt about your driving record, obtain your driving record report via the Florida online MVR, or your vehicle insurance company.
