Job Description
The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Purchasing Manager for a Broad Line Food Distribution Facility located in NE. This position will have 4 reports - 3 Buyers and 1 Freight person. Currently seeking an individual with full line foodservice distribution experience managing approximately 7500 sku's. This strategic role will support 3 locations in the company - Nebraska, North Dakota and Iowa. This position reports to the VP of Sales. Seeking someone with Purchasing/Merchandising Management experience coming from the foodservice industry. This center delivers 6 days a week-no Sundays. This is a 120K square foot facility running 2 1/2 shifts. There are 22 trucks delivering to NE, KS and Western IA and south central and South Dakota. REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Candidates for the Purchasing Manager position MUST HAVE at least 3-5 years of previous Purchasing Management experience from within a Broad Line Foodservice Distribution Facility.
