What would you be doing?
As the QA Supervisor for our client’s frozen food business segment, your responsibilities would include:
- Supervising up to four QA technicians, including directing and prioritizing their work and providing ongoing guidance and training
- Interacting with production managers to report findings and alert them to QA concerns
- Responding to quality issues as they arise in the plant
- Preparing and maintaining forms used by the QA technicians
- Reviewing completed forms and making determinations based on the outcome of specification results
- Overseeing higher-level QA tasks (including stopping or changing production lines, pulling products, etc.)
- Coordinating shift product tastings
- Deciding which products are put on hold, which are evaluated and which are released for shipping
- Preparing and circulating nightly reports
- Collecting samples and assisting with general QA duties when necessary
**This role oversees the swing shift (3pm to 12am, Monday through Friday), although there is room for shift changes in the future.**

What kind of candidate are we looking for?

- Demonstrated supervisory or QA experience in a food manufacturing environment is required (a related Bachelor’s degree will also be considered)
- Quality assurance experience within a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English speakers are encouraged to apply!
- Candidates who truly enjoy food and have good sensory skills are a big plus
- Computer proficiency is a must
