Job Description
The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Degreed Electrical Controls Engineer for a Large Food Manufacturing Facility located in Boise, ID. Duties: • Perform/supervise the creation, modification, updating and of optimization of PLC programs. • Perform/supervise the creation, modification, and updating HMI application. • Perform/supervise the installation, replacement, and modification of electrical equipment. • Perform/supervise the installation of instrumentation and control systems. • Provide/supervise troubleshooting of process, control, and electrical equipment. • Maintain, modify, and update plant drawings, including electrical, control, and P&ID drawings. • Proactive in providing solutions to plant operation improvements. • Assist the Electrical/Controls Engineer with Capital Projects. • Ensure plant modifications, upgrades, and new installations comply with Company Standards.
Qualifications: • Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. • Minimum of three years experience in electrical and control systems. • Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, ISA, and ANSI requirements. • Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics, one-lines, and P&ID drawings. • Ability to prepare reports and correspondence. • Ability to perform analytical tasks of test data. • Ability to assist in project management. • Ability to apply principles of logical and/or scientific thinking to the resolution of problems. • Must have a good command of English language skills. • Must possess good interpersonal skills. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Ability to develop, implement, follow, maintain and improve processes, practices and standards. • Possess project/time management skills. • Display individual leadership skills, resolve problems/conflicts, and mentor/coach as needed. • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, it’s vendors, and outside contractors.

REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Candidates for the Electrical Controls Engineer position MUST HAVE a 4-Year Engineering Degree (preferably Electrical Engineering) with at least 3-5 years of Electrical Controls Engineering experience from within a Pharmaceutical and/or Food/Beverage Manufacturing Facility.
