Job Description
The Company Our client is a nationally recognized manufacturer of frozen & refrigerated food products. They are seeking a
Senior Food Technologist for their facility located in Denver, Colorado.
The Opportunity
The Senior Food Technologist will be responsible for developing and launching new products and line extensions. Additional focus will be the optimization of existing products in line with consumer expectations and needs. Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead inter-departmental and intra-departmental project teams.
- Work closely with other functional groups including manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, marketing and quality assurance.
- Develop and propose creative and innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Provide leadership and direction to at least one direct report.
- Initiate cost saving opportunities.
- Approximately 35% travel.
Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.
- 4 – 6 years experience in new product development at a major consumer products company.
- Experience with food systems, processing and ingredient functionality.
