Job Description
A manufacturer and marketer of consumer food products is looking for a qualified person to fill the position of Civil Projects Engineer at its corporate headquarters in central Washington State. The company also constructs, operates, and maintains a significant infrastructure.
This position will be responsible for:
• working with the plants to comply with environmental regulatory programs, obtain and renew related permits, prepare hazardous material and hazardous waste reports, and provide oversight of the operation of wastewater treatment facilities, • collaboration with the engineering team to cost, plan, and implement construction projects, • providing environmental compliance information and documentation at the corporate level in dealings with customers and agencies.
Ideal candidate will have a • Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, • 5-10 years experience in project engineering and regulatory compliance and familiarity with food processing operations • Must possess effective communication, planning, organization, leadership, and presentation skills.
