Leading provider of quality produce based in the Dallas area seeks a Financial Controller. The Controller will manage all Accounting & Finance functions along with 3 members of the accounting team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee the activities of the Accounting Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports
• General Ledger – entries, accruals, etc.
• Bank reconciliations
• Grower Partner reconciliations
• Oversee Accounts Payable & Payroll department
• Oversee the activities of the Accounts Receivable Department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all Accounts Receivable
• Prepare summary reports on behalf of company activity, have ability to forecast based on past & current business activity
• Quarterly tax preparation
• Annual budgets
• Month-end, year-end closes, creation and review of all Financial Statements
• Establish & maintain control system for enhancement of company

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent, with a major in an accounting or finance related field
• Must have experience with Famous Software
• 7+ years Financial Analysis & accounting management, 2+ years work experience as a Controller including managing personnel
• Experience in Ag industry preferred but not required - Grower accounting, etc.
• Must be able to work well with all levels within company
• Must be able to multi-task
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office, FAMOUS, Spreadsheets)
