Job Description
Requirements: Have a strong science and analytical background with a degree in a field such as Chemistry, Engineering or Food Science. 5+ years experience, MS or PhD is preferred.
Duties: -Support plant expansion and manufacturing process improvement projects by participating on design review teams, manufacturing troubleshooting teams, and new equipment review and installation teams. – Become proficient in pilot plant/ plant scale manufacturing processes in order to serve as manufacturing liaison to the Flavor Creation Group. – Analyze and interpret data obtained from various analyses and analytical equipment such as GC, GC-MS, sensory and other means to support new flavor product creation and development and new process development. – Provide blending and prototype preparation support for development of new flavor ingredients and reformulate existing flavors to support contingency, long term supply strategies and cost saving efforts. – Become proficient in the basics of flavor chemistry and creation as they apply to TCCC beverages in order to better perform all of the above duties.
