MISSION FOODS A leader of Mexican Food Products has an immediate opening for an experienced WAREHOUSE MANAGER for its Fife, WA Plant. The Warehouse Manager’s overall responsibility is to provide direct supervision of both salaried and hourly employees involved in both receiving raw materials and shipping finished goods in a manufacturing environment. RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: To create and support a safe, sanitary and positive work environment. Responsible for providing accurate, organized and timely record keeping of required documentation which is both - computer based as well as paper form. Directly responsible for understanding and directing personnel in the use of both production and transportation schedules, bills of lading, invoicing and other associated operational documentation. Directly responsible for the accurate and timely receiving and distribution of raw and finished materials. Specifically ensures that regular, accurate, SOX compliant inventories are completed in both raw and finished goods while insuring minimum loss of products. Responsible for the communication, implementation, and enforcement of policies and procedures. Maintain current and accurate time keeping records for all employees, as well as conducts warehouse inspections and follows-up on noted deficiencies. Responsible for training and development of all position within the warehouse staff. Must conduct weekly meetings to identify and/or resolve shift issues and/or concerns. Responsible for conducting timely performance evaluations of subordinate staff. Requires knowledge of warehouse equipment and operational understanding. Perform additional duties as assigned. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

SKILL SET/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Proven ability to lead and develop a team Well organized, quick learner and possess excellent communication skills Must be able to accurately record documentation. Computer literacy required. 5+ years distribution experience preferred 5+ years supervisory/management experience preferred or equivalent experience Experience dealing with 3rd party transportation Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to push/pull occasionally High School diploma/GED required. Advanced education preferred.
