Our client, a national food-processing firm with several plant locations in California, is searching for a Plant Human Resource Manager for their facility near Thousand Oaks, CA.

Position Description:

Manage Human Resource functions including workforce planning, recruitment, affirmative action, labor relations, compliance, and performance counseling and training. Ensure legal compliance with ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO, AAP and other applicable laws; provide training and education to management. Travel at time to other facilities as required, travel should not exceed 50%.

Position Requirements:

4-year degree in HR Administration or related field.

7-10 HR Management union experience in a manufacturing environment.

MBA or MS degree and PHR/SPHR certified preferred.

Good interpersonal, organizational, and professional skills.

Good PC skills; familiarity with HRIS, PeopleSoft experience preferred.

Fluent in speaking Spanish and proficient in reading.
