Job Description
Our client is looking for a Project Engineer with high speed packaging experience. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years experience and have experience with capital projects in excess of $1MM. This position is with a leading consumer goods manufacturer and offers an excellent career track. This person will provide technical and leadership skills in executing capital and continuous improvement projects within the packaging community. He/she should have demonstrated performance and skills in executing concurrent assignments in project execution, experience in plant operations and industrial environments understanding impacts of equipment design and setup relative to staffing considerations, and a working knowledge of manufacturing, quality, and R/D functions. The position requires a thorough understanding of Food Manufacturing Regulatory Requirements (GMP's, Food Safety, sanitations practices and design criteria). Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools and processes is necessary.
