Sales Account Manager – Food Manufacturer Los Angeles Area
The country’s most respected fresh packed tomato company has an immediate opening in Northern CA. Our client has been selling the finest processed tomato products to restaurants around the United States for over 60 years. We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their team. This position will be responsible calling on and presenting to foodservice operators throughout the Sacramento/Central Valley Territory.
The chosen candidate will conduct sales calls and cuttings/presentations to potential new customers in an effort to sell the company product line. This position is devoted to generating new business while servicing existing customers. The company products are the leader in their market. Second to none.
Qualified candidates will have at least 4-6 years experience calling on Foodservice establishments such as restaurants, hotels and catering businesses. Experience selling in the Pizza/Italian Foods Industry a big plus. Former food distributor background is very helpful. Bi-lingual a big plus. Upbeat, can-do attitude is a must. Cold calling experience and performing cuttings a must.
Compensation package will include a base salary, lucrative bi-weekly commission plan, company car, home office, full expense account including 100% gas paid by company and an outstanding benefits program. First years dollars will be in the range of $80k - $95k. Very positive stable company culture and work environment.
