Job Description
The company is a leader in the consumer packaged goods industry. The company owns a portfolio of category leading brands that are recognized throughout the world.
The Sr. Category Manager is responsible for leading the Category Management efforts for a major national account and managing the team of Category Managers and Analysts supporting this division. This individual will deliver value–added category expertise and make recommendations to drive sales and maximize category profitability for the customer.
The position requires 4+ years of Category management experience in Consumer Product Goods industry and 2 years of people management experience. The candidate must have strong strategic skills, demonstrate flexibility, and be able to build consensus. Experience using IRI, Nielsen, Apollo/ProSpace, Spectra, and Household Panel Data is required.
