Job Description
Experience:
A global manufacturer is looking to add a Buyer to their Northern Kentucky location. To be considered for this opportunity one must possess the following experience and skill set.
*Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline. *2 or more years of supply chain experience in the food, beverage, pharma or CPG industries. *Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and contracts. *Ability to conduct analysis, generate recommendation proposals, present ideas and implement these ideas. *Minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience of CPG is required for the role. *Excellent oral and written communication skills. *Ability to lead projects and work with cross-functional teams.
Description:
The Buyer will lead sourcing efforts to support the North American business of the organization and will have primary responsibility for supplier relationships with packaging and raw material suppliers. This individual with work to bring innovation to the company by matching supplier capabilities and R&D efforts with new products and line extensions.
