The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Degreed Sanitation Supervisor for a Large Food/Beverage Manufacturing Facility located in South Western, KY. JOB SUMMARY: Direct, administer and coordinate the Sanitation Department in the completion of their assigned duties in such a manner as to insure a clean, safe product. The incumbent balances the highest possible efficient flow of production with the highest possible level of sanitation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES: • Plan, organize, execute and monitor plant sanitation crew, processes and methods. • Promote all plant safety, GMP, GSP and food safety policies and procedures. Proactively support Company needs and requirements. • Plan and execute daily, weekly and periodic plant wide cleaning and sanitation actively to ensure compliance with all regulatory procedures for sanitation, house keeping and readiness for the next day’s production. • Coordinate, plan and document sanitation activities and schedule workforce. • Proper operation of the CIP, flow plate connections and other Sanitizing Process equipment. • Periodic and end of shift walk-around inspections to verify the completion of work and when necessary, due to vacations or other absences of department employee, pitch in and perform work assignments to ensure completion of the nightly job check off list. • Train, cross train, discipline and complete reviews of all department employees. Hold department meetings and conduct or host training on plant wide topics (e.g. Product Protection, Safety, HACCP, etc.). • Update Sanitation Department Manual and Master Sanitation Schedule to reflect changes in equipment design, new equipment, or changes in cleaning procedure. • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice, Safety, Plant and Department rules. • Monitor equipment condition through scheduled food safety preventive maintenance and inspections. • Communicate and work with Production and Quality Assurance on any concerns, abnormalities, issues and problems. • Review, file and be responsible for all documentation pertaining to the Sanitation Department. • Inventory of Sanitation Department supplies and issue purchase orders for these items to insure an adequate supply. • Performs accident investigations and seeks our corrective measures. • Manages departmental priorities. • Tracks absenteeism and time keeping via the HR/Payroll Manager. • Other duties as assigned.
