Cargill has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Supervisor with our Cargill Value Added Meats, Dayton, VA, team. This position requires a high level of organization, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in order to meet deadlines. The incumbent must have the ability to develop programs and processes, successfully implement, evaluate results to ensure the desired outcome, and make necessary modifications. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: recruiting, employee relations in a union environment, salary and benefit administration, HRIS and payroll, performance management, unemployment administration, legal compliance, and all other duties as assigned. Must be flexible in hours of work as support is provided for multiple shifts of employees.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree - major in HR or related-field desired or equivalent HR experience

3+ years HR Generalist experience

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated track record in promoting an inclusive environment and seeking ways to integrate differences Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and as a member of a team. Demonstrated excellenct computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Demonstrated excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. Bilingual - English/Spanish, preferred
