Cargill Meat Solutions has an opportunity available for a Value Added Sales Leader. This position is under general supervision of assigned Sales Account Managers. The prospective candidate will develop sustainable sales of value added items in Canadian marketplace that enables additional margins beyond traditional commodity sales.

Principle Accountabilites:

Collaborates with value added business team and operations to understand capacity issues/capabilities/needs and align that with product and customer demands Aligns value added sales approach to Cargill overall specific customer strategy and consumer demands and insights Collaborates with sales team on contact strategies for customer Responsible for new product ideas/innovation/development in conjunction with the value added leadership team Responsible for program development that is needed in value added sales world Collaborates with the value added business team and marketing team to develop programs and trade spend Develops budget for volume and margin forecasts by product line and customer

Qualifications 2+ yrs sales experience BA/BS degree
