Cargill Meat Solutions has an exciting opportunity available for a Product Manager-Ground Beef. This position works under general supervision of Group Product Manager and is assigned to a product or a number of smaller products. The prospective candidate will communicate sales forecasts with the production planner, communicate with sales to ensure growth is focused on higher profit products and analyize the profitability of all grind product. Principle Accountabilities: Purchase all raw material needs for grind at the Watson facility and manage risk Responsible for price discovery and setting final prices on ground beef Responsible for optimizing our ground beef pipeline Key leader to driving the ground beef strategy at the Waston facility. Including building regular turn business and optimizing feature activity between High River Alberta and the Watson Facility.
Qualifications College or University Degree Meat Industry background with category management, planning and or sales experience An understanding of category management, planning, cost accounting
