Leading Fruit & Vegetable concentrate manufacturer seeks a Maintenance Manager who will report to the Plant Manager. With knowledge of equipment and Program Logical Control (PLC) processes associated with juice concentrates and puree concentrates production, the Maintenance Manager plans, directs, assigns, repairs, reviews and supervises the activities of the maintenance department.

This position defines departmental needs and develops strategies for implementation to include planning, organization, training and effective prioritization of resources to meet building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, equipment repair and preventative maintenance needs for Wastewater, Laboratory, Administration, Shipping and Production.

Candidate Requirements:

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to proactively manage a staff and also handle maintenance issues hands-on.
• Must have the ability to know and understand how processing equipment works in a juice and puree factory and be able to maintain such equipment.
• General PLC knowledge, ability to troubleshoot when needed.
• Knowledge of evaporators and filtration systems, specifically Bertocchi extractors and Westfalia 505 decanters ideal
• Knowledge of a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation.
