Cargill Meat Solutions has an opportunity for a Assistant General Manager in our Butler, WI facility. The primary responsibilities of this role are to oversee the workflow processes for two shifts of ground beef and restructured roast beef operations. The successful candidate must have demonstrated cost management experience (i.e. yields, efficiency, and packaging utilization). In addition to operation management, this individual will be responsible for identifying and achieving operational excellence goals, safety performance of the plant, ensuring that processes meet the quality standards for customers and Cargill, people management, and talent development. Principle Accountabilities: 20% - Prepare and run the plant within budget, lead monthly budget meetings and identify opportunities and accountabilities. 10% - Conform with all EHS regulatory and Cargill policies and procedures, foster the safety culture, root cause analysis of injuries. 20% - Deliver product to our customers within agreed upon specifications 10% - Maintain employee relations and engagement. 30% - Follow thru on the BU objectives and key initiatives. 10% - Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned, lead daily/weekly meetings, monitor efficiencies, community involvement, project management.
Qualifications Qualifications 10 years related experience BS Degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Microbiology, Ag Business or related field. Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) helpful Demonstrated communication skills
