Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS: *A minimum of 2 years Supply Chain experience preferably in an operations-based environment in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning *Batchelor's degree (Masters preferred) *Systems Use in at least one or more: Manugistics (DP/SP/Collaborate) SAP, MIPO, APO. And/or internal systems: Sinfonia and DPI
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Support the development and implementation of a new inventory policy to help manage inventory as one of the key drivers for providing excellent service level. 2. Support the development and implementation of a Demand Based Run Strategy to help remove waste from the supply chain and produce based on customer demand 3. Support the roll out of MIPO in the US and scan the region for inventory planning tools that can be leveraged for the short term 4. Identify best practices in supply chain processes and tools within the region and support their roll out where needed 5. Identify systemic gaps and participate in projects for improvement of processes and technologies. 6. Develop training documentation for projects and insure the knowledge transfer from project team or external consultants to to help sustain the process going forward.
