Job Description
Maintenance Manager – Plant Engineer
This position is part of the management team responsible for managing the daily operation of the Maintenance Departments. This position will supervise and lead a maintenance team of supervisors and maintenance mechanics and techs. Candidate will plan, organize, and control department staffing to ensure safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and to comply with department and plant budget goals and accountabilities. To manage all electrical matters associated with our food processing facility located near Columbia, South Carolina. Must have the ability to lead and train personnel as well as diagnose and implement change to enhance the performance. Excellent written, verbal and computer skills are required. The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering and minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory role associated with large manufacturing environment.
