CMS has an exciting opportunity available for an HR Manager at our Cargill Value Added Meats facility in Dayton, VA. The HR manager will be responsible for aligning HR processes and systems with BU strategies; providing HR solutions and direction to the CMS business unit; and administering all HR services including staffing, succession planning, employee development, benefits, compensation, and relocation. Principal Accountabilities: Business Partner/Employee Relations - establish proactive strategies to facilitate positive employee relations, engagement, and employee training and career development. Ensure compliance with Cargill HR policy, federal and state employment and labor law. Facilitate processes for workforce planning, succession planning and staffing (hiring/job posting process, co-op/intern programs.) Participate and administer contractual issues within location. Ensure compliance with Cargill policy for medical and safety management.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in HR/related field of equivalent experience 5+ years of HR generalist experience Strong relationship building skills Ability to influence others Demonstrated strategic and analytic skills Recruiting and staffing experience Must be results oriented and have project management experience Must have track record in promoting an inclusive environment and seeking ways to integrate differences
