Job Description
Duties: Acts as the primary Quality/ Technical resource for a number of internal plants, co-manufacturers, repackers, and suppliers. Ensures that all products meet specification requirements and standards. Works with assigned clients to assure compliance with all company quality policies and supply chain quality needs by developing, implementing and monitoring appropriate quality and food safety management systems. Conducts audits of proposed sites, Food Safety evaluations and process audits as needed.
Requirements: BS Food Science or related degree. A minimum of 3 years experience in Quality in the food industry is required. Strong leadership skills are necessary. USDA experience desires, but will train candidate as needed. Pretty open on product experience.
