The Judge Group, INC. is currently in search of a Artisan Bread(s) Plant Manager for a Large Baked Goods Manufacturing Facility located in VA.

Job Summary: Leads, directs and manages all operation activities to ensure consistent levels of production excellence while maintaining a fully engaged talented workforce. Areas of direct responsibility include operations planning and scheduling, materials management; conversion and packaging; warehousing and distribution. Oversee master production planning and daily production scheduling to optimize service and efficiency performance. Supervise the development and execution of synchronized and detailed crewing, equipment set-up, and materials preparation plans that result in excellent schedule attainment performance. Oversee, direct and manage all manufacturing activity to ensure highly disciplined compliance with all product and process quality parameters and standards including formulations, specifications, approved methods, procedures, practices and systems. Work with Maintenance Manager to ensure effective preventive and emergency maintenance effort through disciplined execution of detailed spare parts, work order, and machine history system. Manage work-in-process inventories of intermediate materials to meet production schedules and minimize waste. Oversee materials management, working with the purchasing department to ensure proper rotation of optimum inventory levels for all materials and supplies. Ensure all operational activity is conducted with disciplined adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices. Candidates must have a European and/or Artisan Bread(s) Manufacturing background to be considered for this position. REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Candidates for the Plant Manager position MUST HAVE at least 3-5 years of Plant/Operations Management experience from within Artisan and/or European Bread(s) Manufacturing Facility. Only candidates with a European Bread and/or Artisan Bread Manufacturing background will be considered. While a 4-Year BS/BA Degree is not required, it is preferred.
