SUMMARY: Develop and lead the implementation of integrated marketing programs in support of US brand objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Lead the visioning, program development and execution of high-impact, high-consumer-touch programs that leverage Ben & Jerry’s strengths in Event Marketing, Public Relations, Product Development, Web and Retail Marketing. • Work, as appropriate, with in-house creative and promotion agencies to develop creative strategies and execute them • Generate program objectives, goals, and timelines and work cross-departmentally to ensure that key milestones are met and goals are achieved. • Identify key potential Social Mission partnerships for collaboration and incorporation into future national integrated marketing programs. • Manage relationships with key external partners (eg, musical talent, non profit partners) • Develop contract business points and negotiate contracts with vendors, and third party marketing campaign partners. • Manage effective budget forecasting and control • Develop effective post-program analysis
Supervise the management of the corporate sponsorship program.
Contribute to the development of direct reports through effective coaching and advocating for appropriate training opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
4+ years experience developing and executing complex events, project management and marketing programs.
Experience in analysis, statistics, and understanding of ROI methodology and evaluation.
Excellent project management skills, and experience in effectively managing staff and outside agencies and vendors.
Proven ability to be a creative and innovative thinker and putting plans in to action.
Must be able to work independently, to accomplish multiple tasks with limited direct supervision. Track record of successful creation and execution of marketing and sponsorship events.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid knowledge of computer software systems (Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Windows NT).
Full days with the need for occasional weekend availability.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs.
