Cargill has an opportunity available for an Staffing Manager with our Cargill Value Added Meats-Retail, Dayton, VA, location. The Staffing Manager position will be responsible for leading the staffing team in the sourcing and marketing of positions for ongoing hourly production candidate generation. This position will partner with the operations team to determine sourcing strategies in a cost effective and timely manner that will produce pipelines for future needs and in support of current openings. As a staffing expert, responsibilities will include:

Providing strategic input on the where and how to find talent (best sourcing channels and methods), including lead conversion to candidates and how to sell the Cargill opportunity. Accountable for the on-going cultivation and evaluation of new candidate sourcing channels and methods. Employ candidate relationship management strategies. Leading sourcing strategy for searches throughout the search process. Coordinate activities, time commitments / availability and align overall workload with assigned recruiter. Conduct the sourcing of candidates on a national or regional level by utilizing various methods. Evaluate the profiles of potential candidates and performing preliminary phone screen assessments. Evaluate 'hot button' motivators of passive and active candidates and influence candidate decision making. Assist in the coordination and development of collateral appropriate to target population.

Qualifications 5 years experience in recruiting.

Successful search experience.

Experience in sales, recruiting, or outside search firm.

Must have a demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and Word).

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Must possess expert level experience with cold calling, namely how to present the opportunity, and how to profile the skill sets and motivations of prospective candidates.
