Job Description
Primary purpose is to oversee and sell Simplot products to all Regional Chain Customers within the specified Enterprise that fall into the largest 201 to 500 within. Responsibilities include but not limited to selling all Simplot products (current and New) and services. Also included is working with/managing local broker chain sales teams. This will include teaching and training of broker Chain sales teams. The objective is to sell value added products/services (including New products) at the highest possible nets while meeting the demands of the foodservice emerging chain industry. Will report to and take direction from Enterprise Manager as well as implement given strategies of the Simplot Company, Area and enterprise.

Essential Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for selling Regional Chain Foodservice customers within a specified Enterprise. 2. Manage, teach and train local foodservice broker chain team to profitably sell Simplot products and services. 3. Work with national and Area marketing departments to develop collateral materials for aiding in the sale and merchandising of products to Regional chain customers. 4. Train broker and distributor chain selling teams on all new products and meal concepts.

This positions requires: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university. Ten plus years related experience and/or training.

Professional Selling skills, ability to communicate proficiently and ability to create and collaboratively work in a team environment.

a) 10 years of food industry sales experience b) Management skills, professional selling skills (learned through higher education, workshops and field experience) c) Organizational Skills/Communication skills (articulating correct goals and mission to broker and distributor chain sales teams) e) Strong industry relationships. Culinary background or experience is preferred.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

This segment requires both foodservice culinary and sales experience. Foodservice knowledge needed to understand product application, foodservice distributors organization and of the Foodservice segment. Must be able to develop and nurture strong relationships at various levels within key Regional customers. Up to 70% travel is required.
